Our Start

Bernich and Co. began with a simple question: What makes the perfect watch? For me, it meant an everyday timepiece that met a very specific set of criteria. I wanted a fluted bezel, a case no larger than 40 mm, a crown positioned at 4 o’clock, and a movement beating at 28,800 bph. As I searched, only a handful of watches came close and the ones that did, were far beyond my budget.

So I turned to what I knew best. Leaning on my engineering background, I started researching how to build a watch of my own. After weeks of learning, experimenting, and even commissioning custom 3D-printed components in the Northeast, I assembled my first prototype. To me, it was perfect. I wore it every day.

That first build sparked something bigger. I continued creating bespoke timepieces and soon began sharing my passion with others, laying the foundation for what would become Bernich and Co.
